One of my true life passions has always been my intimate relationship with the plant world. I was born a gardener, following in the loving footsteps of my father. He and I shared the love of growing things and planted vegetable gardens together into my adult years. The belief that everything in life has a spirit is an essential part of my Finnish and Anishenabe/Ojibiway ancestry. My interests in plants include formal training in landscape and garden design. Minture Gardens
In the creation of my living artwork, I enjoy expressing many of the spirtual values dear to me. Significant among these is the pure pleasure of getting my hands dirty playing in Mother Earth's soil. I find deep satisfaction in bringing the serenity of nature into the home and yard of so many people. Being able to bring beauty and usefulness back to old furniture and found objects is a delightful way to ressurect and recycle.
